01About us

A new name, carrying forward more than forty years of Creative Kindergarten experience.

The Island East campus, formerly Kendall International Preschool, has joined the Creative Kindergarten group and is now The Sprout Creative Kindergarten.

We believe curiosity isn't taught. It grows by itself, in a place that feels safe and warm, full of books and play.

02Our mark

A flower growing on a book.

Every part of our mark has a meaning. Together they tell the story of how a child grows.

  1. A

    The flower: the TS badge

    A red ring that protects, a sun-yellow centre, and green letters for growth.

  2. B

    The heart: the red dot

    Sitting at the bottom of the badge, it is the centre of the flower, and the small head of a child.

  3. C

    The stem: ck

    The green letters become a sprouting figure. The upright stroke is the stem; the small c is a leaf.

  4. D

    The roots: the open book

    The book is the soil everything grows from. Learning is the foundation.

03How we learn

Children learn best by doing.

Play with a purpose builds thinking skills that last: observing, comparing, sorting and solving problems.

Play is serious work for young children. Through it they learn to observe, compare, sort and sequence, and to get along with others.

Hands-on building

Big blocks, small hands. Between trying and trying again, children build focus and confidence.

Reading and writing

Language is the cornerstone of knowledge and friendship. Literacy, maths, science and the arts are woven through every day.

Sunshine, fresh air and tricycles. When their bodies move, their social and emotional skills grow too.

Play and daily routines build a sense of security, so a child's first step away from home feels safe.

Timetables, fees and school bus arrangements will be announced with 2027–28 admissions.
